Final Decline Has Been Chosen As The The Featured Artist For July
Image: http://i6.photobucket.com/albums/y238/richies1girl/IMG_04982.jpg
Band Members:
EJ Kaiser: Vocals and guitar
Seth Welty: Bass
Jim Bihary: Drums
Biography:
Final Decline formed in May of 2008. Drummer, Jim Bihary recruited a guitar player by the name of Mike Cunningham. They began recording some basic ideas together on a computer for some songs.
A short time later, bassist Seth Welty came out and auditioned. He seemed to be a very good fit and was very anxious to get into a band and start playing. Regular practice sessions began as did the search for the perfect front man.
They did not have to look much farther than close friend and fellow metalhead EJ Kaiser. It did not take long to see that EJ was the perfect fit. Not only did he fill the gap in the rhythm guitar section, his "old school" singing style was just what the band needed to achieve the sound they were striving for.
Everyone in the band was very anxious to hit the stage so initially it was decided to learn and play some cover songs from such influences as Metallica, Megadeth, Slayer, and Pantera to name a few.
Shortly after they began to play the local New York metal clubs the desire to write and create music of their own became the main focus of all the members. They had a chemistry and writing process that worked very well and before long the material began to take shape.
Unfortunately, due to some personal commitments, Mike was unable to remain in the band. This put Jim, Seth, and EJ in a difficult spot because the band could not continue in the same format with the loss of the lead guitar player.
After some unsuccessful auditions for a new guitar player, they questioned if moving on as a three piece was an option. The music they knew and loved always had the dual guitar sound, but they believed they would be able to create material that would appeal to themselves and their fans.
So far the results are going well. Their fan base continues to grow daily and their 2 newly recorded songs "Louse and Drama" have become among the most requested songs on God's Forsaken Radio.
If you like old school, in your face fist pumping metal, be sure to check out Final Decline!

Biography:
Canadian Death Metal legends Kataklysm officially formed in the fall of 1991, they released a now classic demo called Death Gate Cycle Of Reincarnation in 1992 that got world attention and a record deal with Germany's Nuclear Blast records, the band signed in 1993 and immediately released the demo on CD format and added the bonus track The Orb Of Uncreation which resulted in the creation of the critically acclaimed MCD The Mystical Gate Of Reincarnation. Kataklysm gained world praise and recognition ...a new style and influence was born : the Northern Hyperblast ..and that was just the beginning! In 1995 the band releases their first album entitled Sorcery which quickly propelled Kataklysm as one of the new leaders and forces to be reckon with in the extreme metal scene!
The band follow up again with another hard hitting assault in 1996 with the release of the second full length album Temple Of Knowledge accompanied with a video clip for the track The Awakener which resulted in headliner tours and a bright future a head. With releases like Northern Hyperblast Live a limited edition CD and the controversial 3rd album Victims Of This Fallen World in 1998 the band showed divesity and explored new territory in which Kataklysm found new ground to establish a new sound that soon that would pave the way for new classics to come!
n 2000 Kataklysm strike with a deadly weapon and 4th album called The Prophecy (Stigmata Of The Immaculate) an album that put Kataklysm on a new course and new horizons, that critics called one of the most devastating release in extreme music in years. With all eyes on Canada's finest export Kataklysm, the pressure was one. but that's when Kataklysm are their most lethal! In 2001 a classic extreme album was born entitled Epic (The Poetry Of War), with a melodic edge backed by extreme roaring power. The bands 5th album has become Kataklysm's finest hour leaving critics stupefied and the world begging for more!
So here we are today with tours in over 19 countries around the world, TV appearances expanding in 11 years of existence of blood & sweat, Kataklysm are back to prove that aging brings experience that make great leaders, Kataklysm are at the top of they're form and have evolved into a powerhouse that will crush all and leave nothing but Shadows & Dust for the mortals to beg! Their 6th album to be released in fall of 2002! Once again handled in the true mercenary fashion of Kataklysm with a production that will leave you breathless. A new chapter is born.. a new era in extreme music.. be prepared for Kataklysm's deadly grip!! Here is what one of North Americas most respected writers has to say about this new masterpiece: "Like true Gladiators, Shadows And Dust tears at you with violent power, crude anger and the barefaced truth of somebody with nothing to lose. A hailstorm of musical swords, without the sorcery, Kataklysm are primed to 'Face The Face Of War' with their latest. This is a furious speed freak with enough doom and gloom to lock and load you for many years to come. Think In Flames huffing gas while classic Priest blares in the background. Shadows And Dust is beauty from a world viewed with revulsion and malice. Unlike anything they've done and a true succession, Kataklysm, once again, take the heaviest of music and add true weight and consequence. " Mitch Joel (Circus Magazine/Hour/Revolver online)

About TRIBUNAL®
TRIBUNAL® was born out of the ashes of the Baltimore based metal band previously known as Visionary and is the ONLY official continuation of the band's aggressive and melodic music. After the name change and departure of more than a few band members Veteran bass shredder Eric "The Viking" Meeks, guitarist Steve "Master Shredder" Whooler, and vocalist Rob Bradley decided to carry on the tradition of the band's high standard of metal. Hence the TRIBUNAL was born. Upon the rebirth of the band comes the completion of their long anticipated full length demo release entitled "Blessed Armageddon." The rest of 2009 will be spent promoting Blessed Armageddon by doing what the band does best....Live shows! The band is currently making some very monumental impending plans for 2010 and already having shared the stage with such metal legends as Symphony X, Doro Pesch, Pagans Mind, Stratovarius, 3 Inches Of Blood, and Mantic Ritual to name a few, TRIBUNAL is already on full course to continue it's mission to melt faces all over the world.
